We offer dogs that we breed, raise and train ourselves so we know 100% what and who they are.  Prices for our adult dogs start at $12,000.00.  They are better balanced and have seen far more in their life than most imports.....     After 911, there was a vast influx of imports from Europe into North America (and the rest of the world) and the quality is less than half of what it used to be for working ability as well as health. Therefore, we will deal with imports but prices start at $15,000.00 CAD for these green imported dogs and we need time to find what you are looking for, import it, test it and deliver to you. All of our dogs (our own and imports) are fully worked in the following areas: retrieval drive, will retrieve different articles including rubber, wood, plastic, steel etc. and will have excellent drive for the ball. Will hunt for the ball in different environments using their nose-not their eyes and will have some possession for it. Dogs are tested under gunfire doing retrieval to see if there is any reaction. They must remain somewhat neutral- showing no fear or high aggression to it.The bite work is advanced for a green dog, they will be fully committed with a full bite on stationary, chase (escape) and courage tests. All dogs are tested in several locations to measure their full intensity and nerve. We also test them and make sure they have civil aggression. Environmental sureness is evaluated and corrected if insufficiency are noted, all dogs are familiar with buildings, shiny floors, stairs/cat walks, fire-escapes, dark rooms, gyms, small washrooms and crowded streets with people and cars to measure their temperament, nerve and stability. All of our dogs will not show problems entering and exiting a kennel or crate, will not be handler aggressive and will have a balanced, neutral and "free" temperament. Any dog showing a weakness to the above, will NOT be offered for sale.

GUARANTEES : Our guarantee for our own dogs on congenital defects is until the dog reaches 3 years of age, along with x-rays of hips, elbows and a full vet-check are included. Health Guarantees on Imports are for 1 year from the time of purchase. Our dogs are well taken care of throughout their life from the time they are born, with regular vet checks, de-worming, heart worm preventative, shots and high quality food. We do not cut corners with the raising of our dogs. A healthy dog will give you more in his work and will also not show early disease to limit his working life for your department. To do things properly, costs money and our prices reflect that.. but in the long run, I can assure you, they are well worth the money.  Our past clients have proven that for us. Shipping is not included in our prices from us to you.

GENERAL PURPOSE PATROL DOGS (7 disciplines)
Agility

Tunnel, Broad Jump, Cat Walk, 7 foot solid fence, Window Frame, A-Frame, 3 Rail Fence, Chain Link Fence, Solid Fence.  We use Agility fields that are available to us and we have our own agility setup during the nice months of the year. We also use many natural obstacles to teach dogs to go over whatever we want them to "within reason. We also use smoke and fire in part of our training to familiarize the dog to different stresses.

Obedience

Our dogs are trained on & off-leash with the following commands, trained in both voice and hand signals, with a lot of distance control work done. They will also work under gunfire and be neutral to it. Heeling, Sit, Down, Stand, Come, Finish, In-Motion Exercises, Distant Control, On-Leash, Off-Leash, Both Verbal and Hand Signals.

OPEN AREA SEARCHES

All dogs are finished off-lead while searching for the suspect and upon finding him/her will bark and guard to indicate or do bite reward depending on the department’s request. We spend much of the time working on the bark so the dog is strong and does understand what the bark and hold is.  They will search independently and will stay with the decoy upon finding him/her- he will give a strong indication. They are exposed to work in bush lines, parks, wooded areas, compounds, etc……

TRACKING

All dogs are finished at a mile long track (1800 paces), with the track consisting of at least 5 legs, 3 articles down, different terrains including hard surface, road crossing and cross tracks. The track can be aged up to one hour. Either reward or man can be at the end of the track.

ARTICLE or EVIDENCE SEARCH

All dogs are trained to indicate the following objects: Glass, Leather, Steel, Wood, Plastic, Paper etc….The indication is made by the dog downing, with the article in front of him/her.  Retrieving the article back to the handler can be done.The articles will be aged for a minimum of 3 hours.The search is done on-lead or off-lead but a disciplined directed search is taught. The dogs will be exposed to many different types of environments.

Building Search
After the warning is announced at the door, the dogs are trained to enter and search the building independently from their handler, locate the suspect and bark and guard to indicate or do bite reward depending on the department’s request. They will work off-lead. Once the dog has cleared the building, he may be called back and continued with a directed search. We spend valuable time working the bark/hold so the dog is strong and will search independently and will stay with the decoy upon finding him/her- he will give a strong indication. Different types of building will be used in their training.

Apprehension

Our dogs will do chase and apprehend, stationary take-downs, handler protection and courage tests with all exposed, hidden sleeves & full body suits. They will apprehend under multiple gun fire. The outs will be finished at a distance. Additional training of stand-offs, running recalls and/or tactical training will be done, depending on the needs of the individual department. 

DRUG DETECTION

All dogs are trained to indicate to the following odours : HASH, COCAINE, HEROIN, MARIJUANA, METHAMPHETAMINE, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA + whatever the individual needs are. Dogs will search on-lead and off-lead and will do open searches on their own as well as directed detailed searches along with their handlers. They will be finished on real drugs. The indication will be aggressive or passive depending on the individual needs. We usually get some work in with our handlers on the CAD/USA border at the end of their training course. They will be familiar with obedience and agility.

Explosive- Bomb Detection 

We used Arnie in our breeding program as a sire. He was imported and fully trained by us. After 911, so many bomb dogs were needed that we decided to sell him as his excellent abilities could be better used with a law enforcement agency. As you can see- he was top in his field. Arnie was an excellent producer as well and we are happy that many of our pups are his offspring.
