Hemi will have her last litter in 2017 and then be retired from breeding.

Hemi is a gorgeous young female out of LESLEY von Nordsee Sturm (from Holland) and XBOX von Lucescu. She is a show line and working line cross and has some great lines on both sides. She has a strong character but is stable in new places and very social with other animals. She is already SG rated and has her AD test completed. Her vet clearance came back super and has certified hips/elbows showing really strong joints. We also had her DNA tested for DM (
degenerative myelopathy) showing “clear”. Hemi is a 5th generation female from our breeding lines where we have owned, handled and trained all these dogs before her so we know her lines and what they produce extremely well. She will be bred to our new male Yevhen in the fall of 2013 and we expect top quality dogs with excellent looks, temperament and work ability.
Hemi got her BH title under CAD judge Frank McEniry and beat all 10 dogs for HIGH BH. In the fall of 2012, we travelled to New Jersey for a trial with Hemi. She did extremely well gaining HIGH IPO1 and did a respectable job under USA judge Karen MacIntyre. Now we are planning to do her breed survey this year in Ontario, then give her some time off to have a litter, then we will continue with her training and titles next year.
UPDATE: Hemi received her Korklasse at the Ontario Regional Championships at the beginning of June. We are very happy with this title for her. Now we will move on to get her IPO 2 & 3.
